It works for what I need it to. Staff were helpful and prompt.
Most liked negative review
Poor quality
Several arrived split, several arrived with significant cracks and later split, many collapsed edges and a wide variation in height - 223 mm is far too big for a 215 block!
Next time will wait for stock at our preferred supplier!

Excellent product and customer service e from the guys at Cleator Moor.
Order in singles. See Tech Spec for pack quantity. Celcon Standard grade is extremely versatile and can be used below DPC as infill for Beam and Block flooring systems, as well as above the ground in walling applications
The Ibstock Red Engineering Class B Brick is a high-strength, low water absorption brick designed for structural applications. Manufactured using a perforated, wirecut process, it offers exceptional compressive strength, making it ideal for foundations, retaining walls, and other load-bearing projects. Its low water absorption reduces the risk of frost damage and enhances durability. As an engineering brick, it is specified for its performance rather than its appearance, meaning it is not intended for facing work. Where aesthetics are a priority, a facing brick should be used instead. Please note this product is produced in Ibstocks Chesterton factory and is therefore more suited to counties in the Midlands & South
Essential for construction and building projects, this brick from London Brick Company comes with a smooth texture for a better finish. It is a high quality, buff multi-coloured facing brick, faced on one side and both ends.
H+HÕs Celcon Blocks High Strength Grade (7.3N/mm2 Ð identified with a black stripe on the block) is ideal where higher compressive strengths are required such as in the foundations and lower storeys of three storey buildings, piers under high vertical loads and in multi-storey buildings.
